This elegant Georgian mews is set within a shared courtyard. it also benefits from a large shared garden.
It is a comfortable and stylish place to stay whether you are just passing through for a few days or staying longer. It is an ideal location to access the Lake District, Pennines, Borders and the Yorkshire Dales. The Eden Valley itself also has a wide range of places to visit and things to do.
It is an ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing, motorcycling, eating out, sailing, kayaking and for taking time to explore the county on day trips.
Luxury and History
Grange Court was built in the early nineteenth century as the servants wing, courtyard and stable block to the main house, The Grange.

Since then it has been a few things, from a home to John Lennon's first wife Cynthia and their son Julian to being the village Doctors home and surgery. We think that the mews was separated from Grange Court at around this time to make a flat for a Doctor and later on Grange Court was divided from The Grange to make a family house with the Mews as a kind of annex.

My wife and I and our two sons have plenty of room in Grange Court itself so we thought that the Mews would make a lovely holiday let. We have put in a good deal of time, effort and care to make it what it is today.

We hope you enjoy your stay.

The Mews was an unlived in semi-derelict flat when we bought Grange Court. We then fully refurbished it to a high standard during lock down.
